Immediate Workplace Value: Completely avoids theory for its own sake. Every single session features hands-on practice and ends with a practical, actionable skill or tool you can use at your desk the very next day
Continuous Skills Build: The curriculum is structured as one continuous build, introducing core concepts plainly through a live showcase rather than dry glossaries, and adding one practical skill each session.
Flexible Live Formats: Completed over 4 weeks with 8 live sessions of about 2 hours each. Every session features live Q&A to answer your questions on the spot.
Built-In Data Safety: Teaches you how to confidently set sensible privacy options and follow clear trust rules so you know exactly what is safe to share before pasting real corporate work.
A Complete Personal System: By the end of the course, you don’t just walk away with knowledge; you assemble a fully operational, role-tailored personal Claude system complete with your own prompt library, configured Projects, and connected tools.

Course Syllabus
Session 1 — Meet Claude and the language of Claude
What you’ll be able to do
- Recognise and name every core Claude concept and know where each one lives in the app.
- Set your privacy options sensibly and decide what is safe to share with Claude before you paste real work.
- Apply the “draft, then verify” habit — knowing what Claude is good at, and what should never be taken on trust.
What you’ll learn about Claude
A clear introduction to the vocabulary you’ll use all month — prompts, context, roles, connectors, Projects, Artifacts, and more — taught through a live showcase rather than a glossary. You’ll see Claude read an inbox and draft replies, and learn the privacy settings that keep your work safe.
What you walk away with
A plain-language glossary of Claude terms you’ll keep and grow, plus a personal data-safety checklist.
Session 2 — Prompting like a pro
What you’ll be able to do
- Write a clear instruction that gets a usable first draft on the first or second try.
- Refine an answer with a few targeted follow-ups instead of starting over.
- Use Claude as a genuine thinking partner on a real decision — having it ask questions, lay out options, and argue against its own recommendation — then capture the outcome in a one-page decision record.
What you’ll learn about Claude
How to write a strong prompt (the role, context, task, and format that make the difference), how to iterate in the same conversation, and how to turn up Claude’s reasoning effort for harder questions.
What you walk away with
Your starter prompt library — five or six of your own tested prompts, reusable with simple fill-in placeholders — plus a decision record from a real decision you’re weighing.
Session 3 — Make sense of anything
What you’ll be able to do
- Turn a long report, PDF, or email thread into a clear, structured summary.
- Convert messy meeting notes into clean minutes with decisions, owners, and due dates.
- Check Claude’s work against the source so nothing is invented or quietly missed.
What you’ll learn about Claude
How to bring material in — uploading files and pasting text — and how to ask for useful structure rather than a flat “summarise this.” You’ll also learn a simple verification step: asking Claude to quote the exact source for each point.
What you walk away with
A reusable summarise-anything prompt and a notes-to-minutes prompt, plus a verification habit you can apply to any document.
Session 4 — Claude and your tools
What you’ll be able to do
- Safely connect Claude to Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Calendar, and understand exactly what you’re granting access to.
- Run real workflows — triage your inbox and draft replies you send yourself, find a file and pull the key terms, prepare for tomorrow’s meetings, and combine all three into a single prep brief.
- Disconnect any tool whenever you choose.
What you’ll learn about Claude
What connectors are and how they work — Claude can read from, and with your approval act in, apps you already use, while never sending or changing anything without you. You’ll learn the trust rules: Claude only has the permissions you have, every action needs approval, and access stays minimal.
What you walk away with
A connected set of tools on your own account, four workflow prompts, and a short connector-safety card covering what to connect, what not to, and how to revoke access.
Session 5 — Research you can trust
What you’ll be able to do
- Run research that comes back with sources you can click and verify.
- Produce a one-page briefing on a topic, vendor, regulation, or market, with a date on every claim.
- Ask Claude to flag the points it’s least sure about — and choose the right depth for the question.
What you’ll learn about Claude
The difference between a quick web search and a deeper research pass, why current information must come from live sources rather than memory, and the habit of checking every claim against its citation.
What you walk away with
A cited research brief on a real topic from your role, plus a saved research prompt and the citation-checking habit.
Session 6 — Create deliverables
What you’ll be able to do
- Draft a document with Claude, refine it in plain English, and undo a change you don’t like.
- Export a real, formatted Word or PDF file.
- Build an on-brand slide deck and export it to PowerPoint or Canva.
What you’ll learn about Claude
How Artifacts let you draft and revise a document live, and how to produce real downloadable files. You’ll also see Claude Design build a presentation from a plain description, slide by slide.
What you walk away with
A finished document (Word or PDF) and an on-brand deck (PowerPoint or Canva), both built from your own material.
Session 7 — Claude works with your data
What you’ll be able to do
- Direct Claude, in plain English, to clean a messy spreadsheet, calculate results, and chart them — writing no formulas yourself.
- Read the results and verify the numbers with a quick recheck.
- Export a tidy Excel report you can share.
What you’ll learn about Claude
That Claude can write and run the analysis on your data for you — the skill is giving clear instructions and checking the output, not programming. You’ll learn how to keep data safe by anonymising and aggregating before you upload.
What you walk away with
A cleaned dataset, a chart, a downloadable Excel report, and a reusable analysis prompt you can run each month.
Session 8 — Build your personal system
What you’ll be able to do
- Set up a Project tailored to your role, with clear standing instructions Claude follows every time.
- Add a small, clean set of reference documents and your prompt library so every answer reflects your context.
- See the difference plainly — the same request in a blank chat versus your configured Project — and leave with a plan to keep improving it.
What you’ll learn about Claude
How Projects act as a durable command centre: how to write instructions Claude reads every time, how to give it the right reference material without overloading it, and how to keep your prompt library in one place.
What you walk away with
Your working personal Claude system — a role-configured Project, your prompt library, your glossary, and your connected tools, all in one place.
